I think I understand how to make this sauce your way – I have done it similarly in the past. I am confused by one point – under Step by Step Instructions, you say: ” If you don’t have beef stock or water by hand, add it.” That is unclear to me – sorry.

Would it be ok to add some ground Szechuan
Peppercorns to this sauce as well as the Black Peppercorns?
