It goes well with steak, stir-fries, chicken wings, or pasta. It has been one of the most popular sauces in Chinese cuisine. I will share my way of making an aromatic, authentic black pepper sauce. The best match for it is black pepper beef stir fry, which is widely loved in Chinese restaurants. The whole process includes preparing the minced ingredients and then frying the aromatics. At least pour in black pepper and starch water to give it a thick texture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1 cup beef broth or water <br>4 garlic cloves, minced<br>1\/4 onion, minced <br>2 tbsp. light soy sauce + 1 tsp dark soy sauce <br>1\/8 tsp. salt<br>2 tbsps. But if you plan to pour it over, I recommend still using vegetable cooking oil. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do remember to stir the water starch before using so there is no bottom-sunk starch.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step by Step Instructions <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mince red onion and garlic. Try to cut them into similar pieces. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add oil and fry garlic and red onion until slightly soft and aromatic. Pour in beef stock. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add ground black peppercorns, light and dark soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
